-January 2014: Aman Yadav, Tim Korb, and Susanne Hambrusch attended the Computing Education for the 21st Century (CE21) PI and Community Meeting ​ held in Orlando, FL on January 6-8, 2014. The meeting brings together experts in computer science education, broadening participation in computing, and traditional education researchers to build new partnerships and collaborations,​ and the leveraging of ongoing work.

-December 2013: Aman Yadav and Tim Korb will be attending a CISE and EHR meeting at National Science Foundation in Washington, D.C to discuss the new STEM-C partnerships.  ​

-November 2013: Debbie Hagen has joined project PD4CS as a consultant. Until June 2013, Debbie was the Computer Science teacher at Jefferson High School in Lafayette, Indiana where she taught CS AP, C++, Visual Basic, and Web Design. Debbie'​s teaching experience will be of tremendous value in the professional development effort. ​

-November 2013: Aman Yadav'​s has been recognized as a University Faculty Scholar effective January 2014. Purdue'​s University Faculty Scholars Program recognizes outstanding faculty members who are on an accelerated path for academic distinction. Faculty Scholars are appointed for a nonrenewable five year term and receive an annual discretionary allocation. Congratulations,​ Aman!

-September 2013: The National Science Foundation awards Purdue University, in partnership with Project Lead the Way (PLTW), a grant on “Leading the Way to CS10K: Assessing a Just-in-Time Professional Development Approach for Teacher Knowledge Growth in Computer Science.”

-August 2013: Dr. Aman Yadav begins his Faculty Fellowship for Study in a Second Discipline in Computer Science. ​
